About

Complex digital systems rarely fail because people aren’t trying hard enough. More often, they fail because decisions have been layered without clarity, ownership has drifted, and no one has had the space to step back and see the whole system clearly.

That is the work I’m called into.

I help organizations slow down just enough to understand what’s actually happening in their ecommerce, B2B, and platform ecosystems—so they can make decisions that hold up over time. Not quick fixes. Not tool-driven solutions. Thoughtful choices that reduce fragility and restore confidence.

I’m DeAnne Clifton. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside small teams, growing businesses, and mission-driven organizations operating with limited resources, outside help, or systems that no longer fit their needs. In many cases, the challenge wasn’t effort or intent—it was clarity.

My work sits at the intersection of ecommerce, platforms, and people. I help teams identify what truly matters, decide what comes next, and move forward in ways that feel steady and sustainable. I’m not interested in rushing decisions, layering on tools, or creating dependency. I care about building systems you can understand, maintain, and live with over time.

To support the level of systems thinking this work requires, I maintain formal study in information technology alongside my consulting practice. I also bring decades of practical experience supporting customers, teams, and organizations through change—often remotely, often across time zones, and always with care.

I work best with people who value clear thinking, honest conversations, and long-term stability over quick fixes. If that sounds like you, we’ll likely work well together.
